
Dr. Shaun M. Williams is the dean of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and professor of chemistry at Lenoir-Rhyne University. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Capital University and a PhD in Chemical Physics from The Ohio State University. He has also received a MS on Online Teaching and Instructional Design from Lenoir-Rhyne University.
In addition to his administrative duties, Dr. Williams has taught introductory chemistry, general chemistry 1 and 2, calculus-based general physics 1 and 2, physical chemistry 1 and 2, inorganic chemistry, and computational chemistry. Additionally, Dr. Williams is the chemical safety officer for the Lenoir-Rhyne University science building as well as overseeing the undergraduate teaching assistants in the chemistry program.
